I'm all over the place with my next wheel purchase, but I keep coming back to these TWS Nurburgring . I found a decent deal on these right now: $100 off a set of four plus free shipping:

TSW Nurburgring Matt Gunmetal: 18x7.5...et45 (next size up is 8.5)

They have a fancy way of casting them called "Rotary Forged" which apparently makes them abit stronger and lighter..."Created using TSW's Rotary Forging process, the wheel is forged while spinning at high speed to enhance its strength and reduce weight."

What do you guys think of these? Any thoughts on the brand? I've been doing lots of reading on other forums, people seem pretty happy with them.

Go with 8.5 :) I ran 18x8 +45 on my sedan (which have the least fend space) and had no rubbing whatsoever. There is definitely room for the 18x8.5!

The problem I'm running into is that I have 225 tires. They would just be too stretched and unsafe on 8.5 wheels. I know the 8.5 width would provide great grip with 235 or 245 width tires, but my fuel economy would likely suffer? Bottom line is that I already have the tires and the 7.5 will be lighter than the 8.5

Nothing wrong with running 225's on 8.5 :)

Nice wheel though

you're joking right? Technically I think it can be done, especially since mine are 225/45, but I dont think it's recommended.

oh no I'm not joking at all. I'm running 225/40 on mine. I know MS3 people run them with 235's. You already have the tires so you can run either of those. I would just prefer a wider wheel. It's all up to you!

Rocked same rims last summer 18 x 8,5 with 225/40/18 Yokohama ADVAN NEOVA AD08 and had no problems.
Sold them cuz they are pretty heavy but lighter then stock :) + its unreal to run 8,5 on 2010 without rolling ur fenders....

yea, that above pic is probably the one that got me on the whole TWS wheel thing. I think those are 19s.

I'm going to play safe and prob just get the 18x7.5s in gunmetal. I was also considering bronze. There's some real-life pics on some of the other car forums and it looks alot different from the TWS stock photo.

225 on an 8.5" won't be much of a stretch, more/less depending on the make of tire, some run wide.

Did a quick search for you.

I can even get you a general list of tires that run narrow/wide/true if you like.

Discount tire direct:

TSW
Nurburgring 18X7.5 5-114.3 45MGM

Total with shipping, taxes, and all brokerage/customs duties: $1,124.00USD.

So, about $1150 after my credit care company takes the 2.5% conversion fee.....

I ran 215/45s on my 8" wide wheels, which was a very mild stretch and will be in the same range as running 225/45s on the 8.5" wheels.

Its somewhat of a personal choice, to me the wider wheel looks much better since it will be more flush to the fender (I like a bit of a stretched tire too).

hmmm, found this...says up to 8.5. My question now is would 18x8.5 rub on stock suspension. Also, the tires are a few years old and sat on 7.5 wheels the entire time, will the tire be weakened on the 8.5??

I saw these a couple weeks back and liked them too. Apparently in the past (~2000) some TSW were a bit weak/soft, but from what I've read their recent offerings have a good reputation.

As mentioned, I was looking at these, but decided to hold out in favour of 2010 MS3 rims or perhaps something else... We'll see. :)

Although you're a 2007, here are some pics of 19" on 2010 models which I had found:
