Sumitomo tire needed

I have a cut sidewall on one of my winter beater's tires ('97 Audi A6 Avant).

Sumitomo HTR T4 (P)205/55/R16

I've been calling around the Belleville area, but can't seem to find a dealer. I've done an internet search and a forum search also, but draw a blank on a dealer.

Help! I need one tire!

Maybe you can try a Mazda dealer? My used '08 came with new Sumitomo tires ... so they must have access to them somewhere

I was in the same position as you a few months back. Found a few vendors, but the prices were ridiculous. Ended up ordering from TireRack. Much, much cheaper. Check there!

It's holding air, and it's not cut through the sidewall. It is more of an angle gash in the rubber only. I glued it back down.

Ya, I may still need it, but I'll hold off for now, since I really need tires for the truck first.

Thanks for the offer, Kevin, but I was really hoping to find someone around this neck of the woods. A five hour drive for a $100 tire is a bit much!

... or can you have it shipped here for a reasonable price?

Yes, TireRack is in the states - Will probably be about $40 shipping for a single tire. They charge Duty/Tax/Tire fee/Brokerage at time of checkout so you won't have any extra charges at the door

To find out shippping you must add the tire to your cart then proceed to check out and then will have to click on where it says calculate shipping and you will have to put in your post a code and it will calculate shipping and all other fees will be list at bottom right in red. What ever you pay you will not get charged anyother fee when they come with ups
