just curious to see who's kept their oem radio (i like the look of it and don't want to switch it up with the KDC X591 Excelon i have from my last car)
so what i would like to know is it possible to connect off the oem unit to my amp KACX4R Excelon with a device (LOC - Line-Output-Converter i believe) then add the sub in there (hopefuly finding a jackstand enclosure)

best way to find stuff is the search lol but yes if you have a line converter you hook it up to the rear speakers + & - then set the levels and connect your RCAs to the amp

Yes it can work that way, but don't expect alot out of your stock headunit. Even if you get a loc it will not provide the amount of power that a aftermarket headunit would thus meaning sound quality will not be as great
But you can try it make sure you get the right loc
