Car lights don't flash when locking and unlocking

I just noticed that my car doesn't flash when I lock and unlock the door...it beeps but no lights flash. I know the doors are closed. Trunk is closed. Anyone else ever have this problem or know what I should look at?

i think this is a blown fuse, are your 4 ways/turning signals/ horn working?

I have the exact same problem. four-ways don't flash when I lock or unlock the car. stock alarm and fob remote that came with the car

this happened to me to but only when i parked my car outside one night and they didnt work but it was really cold that night , i had it in the garage the next night and they worked wtf? lol

Mine does that when something is open/ajar on the car, doors and even last time the hood wasn't down properly.

Check to see if your 4ways work. If so, check the fuses next as suggested above. Had this issue with another car and it was just a simple fuse that had to be changed.

I think I figured my issue.

If your car has a factory alarm, check your hood switch located in the hood latch. Open your hood and press the metal thingy into the switch then try your FOB to see if the lights flash now? If you let go after locking your car, the alarm should go off. I cleaned the area and it's working for me now.

just checked under the hood by the radiator and found that the connector for the hood latch sensor was unplugged. plugged back in and all is good, lights flash now when I lock/unlock. thanks thesober for the hint

I just realized I had the same problem last night, only thing is my hood doesn't close at all. It's just holding loosely onto the latch but won't lock shut when I push down on it. FML. Its one thing after the other with these cars!
