I got that feeling not long ago, but as I gave it more gas, it really didn't matter anymore... I got that smile and pride and enjoyed the rest of the ride!

Ya I definitely feel the same. When the weather is cold and right when I start driving it after having it frozen overnight in my garage, the cold engine sounds kind of laboured. It kind of feels as though my car too is saddened by this cold and dull weather. But once she's warmed up and accelerating down the on-ramp to merge with highway traffic, the exhaust note, albeit stock, reminds me why I love cars and driving so much! Don't worry, summer is just around the corner! :)

Oh man you just wrote down what soo many of us are going through.. i know ppl may look down on my for driving around for no reason but thats my getaway thats where i go to be away from everything just to think yaknw? but yeah i always start my drive in a unsure state but as the drive goes on you feel it and i could never descride what i felt but you did a great job! Kinda feeling this. Though this morning with the roads a bit dryer than they have been, taking a corner a bit harder did bring a smile to my face. Can't wait till I can crank the sunroof open on the drives.

I hate the fact my cars filthy all the time. Really starting to bug me. That and my tall as winter tires rubbing in the front during hard turns.

I hate the fact my truck is grey instead of black.

I hate that my gas mileage is terribler in the winter.

I hate that the interior is currently a write off (moving houses in the middle of snowstorms will do that)

I hate the fact I need to do a wheel bearing, new tires, and possibly brakes.

I love the fact that I can put it in 4x4 and stomp on the gas doing 60 on a snowy road and take off like a bat of hell....and stay perfectly straight.

I love passing everyone that does 20km/hr because we got 1cm of snow.

I love doing donuts in a rwd vehicle.

I love the sound my CAI makes in the cold.

I love the fact I no longer need to shovel.

Kind of a love hate thing going on....cannot wait until spring so I can actually clean the truck.

I have $2400 in mods sitting under my bed just waiting for spring....... can not come fast enough.

Nah. When I can open my sunroof without changing my routine/car, then it's a good day out. IE no turning the vents from where they are, no extra clothing. Only different thing I'd do is turn DOWN the heat depending what the temp is.

That sounds like an arduous wait...

A GREAT day, is in the summer evening, taking a shower, and hopping into the car in boxers and wifebeater, same routine + music, and just cruising.
