good day,
recently purchased 07 GT Hatch and i am looking to get an SRI.
on my Sentra previously i got an eBay CAI (maybe $40) that i made into a SRI with a K&N dry filter and some Samco hoses it was fantastic, rumbled and i actually got some better gas mileage out of it.
curious about new or even the 2 used ones in the classifieds are worth picking up, reading about the Ractive ones so far they seem to be a favorite here
any other comments suggestions?
thanks guys

Ractives are not the favorite.
They are the least expensive, and the easist to get.
That being said - My Pmall intake is running like a champ.
Will be picking up a new cone filter for this spring

Ractive are not a favourite, they are just very cheap in cost $90ish new. it is a good intake for its price. i had it on my car for about 6 months then upgraded the a PRM SRI. theres also the Tekeda SRI that i hear is good.

im running a ractive SRI at the moment and it seems to be running great, ive had it on for almost a year and a half now with no problems. It is also not a pricey SRI with great sound!

i've been reading up on reviews on the simota and they seem pretty good.. nice low end growl upon spirited acceleration. I might look into picking this up myself. Only thing is apparently some of the 2010s have experienced a few CEL issues but majority have not..? :whoa

Ya I hear only good things so far about the Simota CF SRI. Sounds pretty good too from the vids plus it looks great with its carbon fiber filter cover. It is quite a bit more than the Ractive (Simota - approx $200, Ractive - approx $90) so it's up to you. I think I may go for the Simota or an intake system that can convert between a CAI and an SRI (like the Takeda or K&N).
