I hate valentines day. Its such a stupid day...In the 11 years i've been with the gf i think all we've ever done is go to dinner some time around the 14th...Thank god my gf has decided that it's a waste of money as well. Now she doesn't expect anything...

This year, we're doing nothing. In fact I'm working an afternoon shift and I've got a hockey game that night. So unfortunately she doesn't fit into the evenings plans...That being said, I am taking her to Florida on the 16th....Maybe I'll buy her a coffee in the airport and pawn it off as a valentines gift...

Stop whining guys and do something nice for your woman if you wanna get laid!!! She might say it's a waste of money or she doesn't mind, but every girl secretly hopes for something.

That being said, first Valentine's day alone in 6 years and I suppose I'm bitter due to recent circumstances. So EFF Valentine's day this year!!! I'm gonna polish off a bottle of Shiraz and watch stupid movies all night. And maybe I'll buy a punching bag too. hahahha Awesome.

haha it is completely true for most holidays. I just think it's nicer to randomly show the person you care about that you care. It's not so expected that way.

The reality is, every girl and woman cares, and hopes that her "man" will do something out of this world for her. As a guy, if you love and care about your girl, you should do whatever you know will make your girl feel like a "princess" that day, even if you don't care and give a rats ass about Valentines day. When it comes down to it, it is really a day for women more than men, and its a chance for men to 1-up their points with their woman.

Anyway...as for me, spending Valentines day single. The funny thing is, Valentines day is one of the days I don't feel bummed out about being single...because it only means I am not wasting my time with someone who isn't right for me.

All in all, Happy Valentines day to all of you singles and couples. Its a day that has different meanings for everyone.

I'll be spending valentine's day in a lecture hall writing my linear algebra midterm :( I told my girlfriend that we weren't going to be able to do anything for v-day and she shouldn't expect something because I can't even find 2 seconds for myself these days to go out or even plan anything. Turns out I kinda lied a bit :P I know she is looking forward to it since it is our first v-day together and she is a great girl who deserves the best so I found some time to make a quick call to order some flowers for her. I'll pick them up on my way home from my midterm and I'll stop by her house with her surprise. I hope she likes it...and i hope she is actually going to be home :S i know flowers aren't much and I just hope she really understands how busy i am with school...

You should move to Japan. There the women give chocolate to the men on Valentine's Day. If you like the girl/woman then you give them chocolate on White Day - March 14. There's a bit more to it.
