Can someone verify the difference between number 6 and 7, other than the latch rod, i think they are the same. Also if someone with a 2010 w power trunk can pop off the trunk lid plastic on the top to verify how many wires are going to the actuator it would be greatly appreciated. Price wise both parts are the same, so if it is an actuator also (the gx or other 3 w/out power trunk) it would be as easy as wiring this up to an aftermarket alarm.

if you look at the top of that page it states
6) Lock assy W/o std key
7) Lock assy W/std key

by comparing pics online of previous gen at google the hatch does not have a keyhole in the trunk were the sedan does
looks like current gen neither sedan nor hatch have a keyhole

i know, but what i am thinking is that mazda made one part, the actuator for both cars with pw trunk and no pw trunk, but because there is no key fob with the gx they added in the key cyclinder and the rod. picture wise other than the rod ( the one with key) there is no difference, mind u its just a pic, but from experience the pics are normally pretty accurate. also to the #7 which i have, there are three wires going to it, i know atleast one or two of those wires are for the trunk open light indicator on dash, but the rest i am not sure of
