Hey guys,
Just a crazy thought... 235/45/17 on 17x7.5 ET48 with prokits and yellows, fenders not rolled, does anyone know if I will rub?
Thanks for the input.

No idea, but just surprised you put a 235 tire on a 7.5" rim. Always thought you needed at least an 8" rim for that width.

lol, I am scared to do 8 wide rim, but on 1010 tires they put 235/45/17 tires as a 7.5-9 wide rim. The tire I want 225/45/17 is on back order so I was thinking if 235/45/17 would work on the exact same rim...

you can put a 235 on a 7.5" rim ...i did it at the track. it's a 7" rim that you shouldn't put a 235/45/17 on
when i had the 235s on the 7.5" rim (+45 offset), it didn't rub in one corner at the DDT; however, when i had the 235s on the 8" rim (guessing +40 offset), it rubbed at that corner at the DDT. mind you, this was on a stock height MS3.
based on my out in left field presumption that since my +45 17x7.5" didn't rub, according to this calculator (http://www.rimsntires.com/specs.jsp), you'd be closer to the suspension components on a +48 offset and you may not rub.
cliff's notes: i don't have a concrete answer for a 3 with your config but, based on my experience with my MS3, it shouldn't rub with a +48 offset. if it does, just roll the fenders (that's what i did).
