I'm stuck doing this on my phone while trying to catch up on two days of work, while in a very bad mood. So I apologize if there's already a bunch of threads on this. If there are and they are still relevant, please post up links.

I'm running 205-50-17 W409 IPike on my stock 17" 5 spokes. Both my right side tires are flat and yes unfortunately driven on while flat (not a lot on the rear one, but the front one was driven maybe 20m or so). I'm not sure if there is rim damage, or where the problem (read leak) is on the tires. I looked at the front one when we took it off and I couldn't see any holes or anything. I'm thinking maybe the seal broke or it some how became unseated in the rim. I'm going to try and get pics up tomorrow.

Not sure if I have the Rim & Tire Protection package from Mazda, so I'm going to assume for the time being that I do not.

I purchased the tires from Allen @ Simply Tire back in November or December. And Simply Tire did the mount, balance, install etc.

Are the tires even repairable? Talked to my old man about it, he says the tires may be useless because of sidewall damage. Can anyone confirm this?

What are my options? Where should I go / Who should I talk to?

All help is much appreciated. I'm in the dark on this one.

Here's the only pic I have right now:

I would start by calling Allen and let him know what happened. See if he can do anything for you, and what his recommendations are. My understanding is that if you drive on the tires while they are flat there is a very good chance they are no good, because of the sidewall damage that can occur from the rim rolling on it. I drove about 5 kms on a flat and the tire was garbage after that.

It's still way early for summer tires, but what kind of summer setup do you have? You might be able to get away with all seasons if there isn't any more snowfall.

Have you tried putting air back in the tire? When was the last time you checked the pressure, and how frequently do you check?

Dave, I had a similar situation happen with one of my iPike's. Came out from a company lunch and a rear tire was flat. When I inspected the tire, I didn't see any punctures/nails that would have caused a leak. Luckily for me, I was able to drive over to Allen's with my spare and he gave me a new tire at a discounted price.

Like already said, call Allen and see what he can do for you. Hope everything works out for you buddy!

Find out from your bill of sale if you have tire warranty. If you do good then bring it to the dealer.

If you don't contact Allen as mentioned.

Looks like I don't have the Tire Protection. Guess I'll have to pay Allen a visit today.

Update:

Went to SimplyTire on Saturday, and I can't thank Allen and his team enough. They took me in right away and looked at the tires and, alas, confirmed my fears: both tires are done — there's a hole in the sidewall of each of the tires.
Allan got on his computer and started looking for two new tires for me (as they had none in stock), and managed to find two in Montreal. Unfortunately it's going to take at least a week to get them in. So to get me back out on the road Allen gave me two loaner tires on steelies for the rear, and took my good Left-Rear tire, flipped the rubber around and put it on the Front-Right.
Allen even helped with the uninstall/install! I can't thank the guys at SimplyTire enough, they got me fixed up and back on the road in no time at all.

Here's what I hobbled to SimplyTire on:

Update:

My tires came in this week, and I got them put on this morning.

I can't thank Allen and the guys at SimplyTire enough, they took real good care of me. Especially lending me two steelies with tires to get me around until my replacements came in.
A+++ service!
Thanks SimplyTire! :thumbsup :D
