Is there any place that sell sunglasses in Pacific mall? Do they write prescriptions for them. I have very sensitive eyes.:(

There are tonnes of places in there for Sunglasses. I think they fill prescriptions and not write them. You can get an eye test but I think the norm is to get that from your eye doctor.

Theyre real in there, if you go to the optical shops (Hakim, Laurier, etc.) since you need prescription glasses too.

I've been getting my glasses there for the last 4 years. Over that span, I've got 3 pairs of regualr glasses and 1 sunglass. As mentioned above, I go there to take advantage of my benefits plans as they'll write whatever you want and fudge dates. I highly recommend that you get a prescripiton ahead of time, as opposed to having them measure youre eyes on the spot. It won't be as accurate.

As a matter of fact, I just ordered my latest purchase back on Monday and will be picking it up next week.

Pacific Mall sure isn't the cheapest. But some places had a good price.
Over 12 stores in one spot, but sometimes selection is limited.

Can someone suggest which store to buy sunglasses at in Pacific Mall. I've visited Good Eyes Optical (blue-whie logo), they said insurance would be no problem. Do they also provide the prescription, or should I go to the doctor to get one first. You can also PM me where you had luck in a PM store.

Curse you people with light prescriptions... I made a pair a few years back but they weighed a ton and looked like coke-bottle glasses :(

I got RayBan Wayfarer prescription sunglasses off of clearlycontacts.ca for about 250 bucks!

Highly recommend that service. It's a little weird measuring yourself but my girlfriends been doing it for years and only returned a pair or two.

Plus with their policy you can just return without a reason within 30 days and get all your money back. aaand your first pair of regular glasses are free (+shipping)

I need to do this. Only thing I'm concerned about is I wanna actually try them on before buying lol. I might just go to a random store and try them then order them online.

I'm pretty sure the name of the place I've been going to there for the last few years is Good Vision Optical. (if you're looking at their store locator map, it's "E15". If you're coming from the Steeles Ave. entrance, make a left.... then right at the 2nd last isle before then end (I think that's the same isle as Station 28 for all you car nutts). Good Vision Optical will be on your right hand side, just a few stores down from Station 28.

If you're a little east of Markham check out Famous Optical @ the Pickering Town Centre. They also cover any pair of sunglasses under your insurance. Have been dealing with them for 8+ years without any issue. They have a good selection of sunglasses and anything that isn't there they can order it as well. You can also get your eye exam there for $60 cash!

None of the stores do eye exams.

Good Eyes Optical is fine. In fact, there isn't much of a need to recommend any other store only because they are owned by the same people (Good Vision Optical) or they are more expensive (Advanced Optical is expensive, but they're legit and have been around for at least 20 years). Do avoid Asian Optical though (it's located beside the store that sells crappy replica rims and seats), my eyes genuinely got screwed by them because they misread my prescription. A-Look is also fine, I recently got my glasses and sunglasses there.
