Recently while standing by the car (engine off) and while driving my doors decided to lock themselves. I thought that this may be caused by a weak battery in the fob.

Yesterday I changed the battery, now I have a new issue: the lights don't blink and horn doesn't sound when I lock the doors remotely - the locks work but no blink and no honk on the second push of the button :(

AND my doors locked automatically when I was driving home yesterday after replacing the battery in the fob...

How do I fix this? Reset ECU?

Help!

Are any of the functions of the fobs working?

Everything works fine - got home yesterday, click the lock button, lights flash. Click it again, horn beeps. All back to normal - maybe it just had to relearn :)

My doors have always auto locked the moment I start driving. They will also auto lock after the car has been shut off for about ten minutes. This is on a 2010 GS

^^ 2005 was not that technologically advanced, plus I don't like having to unlock the doors to get out of the car. Let's hope that it's all well as of yesterday :)

So now the lights flash fine, but doors still lock at random. Any ideas?

I'll be driving along and the doors will lock. 10 minutes later, they will lock again (I haven't unlocked them).

Then for 2 days, they won't do this, then they do..... ugh!

Can I take the door apart and clean or replace something?
