View Full Version : LED 3rd Brake Light (and LED reflectors)

So I want one, BUT, I don't want one with clear LED's that shine red. I want the LED lenses / shroud to be red. That way there is a splash of colour on it. Is this possible? Does anyone know where I might be able to find one like that?

My other question is: is it possible to hook up the LED reflectors to both the brake light and the turn signal?

1) Isn't there a 3rd brake with red housing?

2) Yes. I have my rears wired so they only come on when I brake and my side reflectors to be in sync with my sidemarkers (i.e. when turn signal is on).

you mean like this? I fabb'ed my own LED 3rd brake lights, LED in my outter rear reflectors and LEDs in my rear reflectors (to light with my brake lights) http://www.torontomazda3.ca/forum/showthread.php?44317-Footwell-glow-%28nay%29-turns-into-3rd-Brake-light-LEDs-%28yay%29&highlight=

ahhh re-read the post, easiest would be separate LEDs in the reflector units to wire to each function

i got a smoked led third brake light for my 07 sedan and cant seem to find instructions on how to remove the brake light, all i can find is doing it on a hatch back. i'm assuming you need to take it out through the trunk
