Wipers stopping in middle of wind shield

I'm in my car right now and the wipers are stopping in the middle of a stroke instead of at the bottom . Happened a few days ago too.

Anyone have this problem ?

Sadly Zelda Rubinstein might have been able to help, but she passed away about 2 months ago..

This happened to me a couple months back. Turned out to be a burnt wiper motor. Mazda replaced it at no charge.

Thanks, that helps a lot. Looks like I'll have to visit a dealer sometime since its happened more then once. It's normal again, but its not the first time its happened

Gotta love having warranty!!!

BTW: wiper arm motor ($325) + 1.5 hours labour = $500 + tax.
