I found this to be the most applicable location to post [ advanced apology if not ]

The garage door didn't fully go up this evening as I got home from work. Didn't take notice since I turn, hit the garage door button, then reverse up and by the time I reverse in I can't see the top of the door cause it's up by the time I get back.

Needless to say, heard the twack and had a "OH $#!%" moment. Got out and saw that was the only damage [ thank God ]. Looking to replace it. Co-signer on the lease is a certified mechanic and is able to do repairs. Was looking for a recommendation on where to get a new one for them to replace it with.

Thanks.

depending on what antenna you are looking for, you can probably buy it off people on this forum as many people have replaced their stock horsewhip or stubby with a sharkfin

I have my factory antenna sitting in my garage doing nothing since I replaced it with a stubby. PM me if you want it.

I also have a stock antenna for mazda 3 sedan.

Its chillin in the garage, you can have it if you like, PM is key

You could also get a stubby (shorter antenna for your 3) from mazda dealers. Ask for the 2010+ hatch stubby and it will fit well. price about $23 with tax approx

Stubby is a better look for sure.

However, if anyone does need the stock fishing pole antenna, I have one in my garage too that I'll give away free to a member. Just PM me.
