Foglight bulb install

Received the pair of hoen bulbs I ordered To replace my oem bulbs today. I jacked the car up , had no problem unscrewing the guard. I had a problem removing the wiring harness from the bulb, I checked the manual and a cpl topics on other Mazda sites but couldn't find anything with a clear explanation. Has anyone had experience doing this and any tips would be great! Thanks

Have you pulled the bulb/harness yet? If not, go take a look on how your headlights/DRLs are screwed on. The method is the same as changing regular DRLs, the problem is that you can't clearly see how to turn it since it' covered by the bumper.

FYI - taking it off is much easier than putting it back on, because you need to make sure that it's been properly screwed on in place.

Alright, yeah I haven't removed the harness/bulb yet... I'll take a look at the drl setup and get a good idea in how to unclip the harness from the bulb.. Thanks for the advice

Patience is your friend. Installed my Nokya Hyper Yellows on my fogs yesterday and had a hard time as it was my first try. The other side was way easier after figuring everything out on the first side. I had more of a hard time turning the bulb to take it off, disconnecting the harness was the easy part.

It'd probably help too if I jacked up the car like you did though.
