Recommendations of Power Steering Fluid and Others...

Im slowly preparing to get some fluids ready soon. I need to kno what fluids can be added to the 2004 mazda 3 and whats best out there. I have amsoil currently, but perhaps looking into Redline. Redline carries power steering fluid, but not sure if it's safe for our cars as it is a Dexron III base or similar to M-III. What do you guys have in your cars and any expereinces.

Just use amsoil ATF

Engine Oil: Castrol Syntec 10W-20, but soon to be Redline
Power Steering: no clue, but going to change that at some point as well
Transmission Fluid: Mtx, so I have gear oil, which is going to be MT-90 soon.

Power steering takes ATF. Just use Amsoil.
For the engine, use Amsoil 0W20 or 5W20 synthetic with extended drain intervals. Call Steve at Caslube (http://www.caslube.com), tell him what you want it for, and he'll give you recommendations for products and change intervals, and the associated guarantees. And a better price than Cambodian Tire.

Transmission Fluid : Mobil1 Syn ATF
Power Steering: Mobil1 Syn ATF
Engine Oil: Mobil1 5W-20 Syn

When I had my power steering flush & fill service, I bought some Motormaster ATF to flush the system first and then had the mechanic fill it with Mobil1 Syn ATF. You can probably do the same with Tranny fluild as well.

noticed a nice and smoother shifting after the motul, i was looking for ams but happy with motul, and i changed the engine to synth at the same time i find it runs smoother then before. but could just be me.

"OEM" for power steering fluid = regular esso dexron 3 garbage that won't last long
just use redline ATF D4 for both the auto trans and the power steering... shifts smoother and quiets down the power steering pump to whisper quiet!
you do NOT want to use "power steering fluid", that's for hondas! mazdas uses ATF for the power steering!
