Season 2 is already filmed and mazdaspeedforums killed it for the mazda's. The thing is they just get any random person to do it, so you get people that can't drive worth shit. MSF got a driver, a car and donations for basic mods and ended up 4th overall or something like that.

Donations paid for the driver to fly down, and mods for the donor car that was in the region where it was filmed and season 2 is better setup. Can't wait to see it!

mazda3 or speed3s will probably be some dude on m3f lol

the speed3 was from mazdaspeedforums.org and it was versus a civic Si from 8thCivic. there was a huge thread on both forums as the original Si guy backed out due to a loose wire. the civic Si that went up against the speed3 supposedly had a boosted motor putting out 500whp

it was quite an epic journey as the speed3 and parts were sourced and installed in less than 2 weeks with the driver (FORZDA on the forums) flying into Texas from the northern USA.

as for results, without giving too much away, the speed3 killed the civic and came in 3rd overall (behind the STI and Viper) in the auto-x portion with a busted rear camber link.

Why isn't the forum working together to get a high HP car, combined with some sticky tires, combined with a track rat/autoxer - to show these mazda's up.

It's a Mazda forum. They aren't ricers by nature. Mazda is a brand that promotes actually using their cars. This will not end well for us.

We are going to look like the guy in the viper and the CTS-V from season 1 if we don't put somone in the driver's seat that can properly drive the car to it's limits and not beyond.
