Hey Guys!!

How can i reset my check engine light for Mazda 3 07? and will it look the CD player if i unplug the batter and plug it back in?

Unplug battery if you want. It wont lock out your cd player.

If the problem is persistent the light may come back or not got away at all. I would get it scanned and see what problems you are having.

Parts Source in Mississauga will pull the code and reset the computer. See Mike his was most helpful. Code was P0441 purge flow solenoid. Dealer wanted $100 for the diagnostic. They did it for free and are most helpful. I went to the Store at Dixie road and Dundas Street.

the diag fee is high, because the tech will scan the car, and diag the exact problem. sure, the purge flow solenoid could be the problem, or it could be in the harness, or something directly related to it.

You are right, however I was a least able to have an idea where the problem was and how serious an issue it is. I am having serious medical issues with a family member and it buys me a little time !

i always reset mine, and see if it comes back. if it comes back right away, have it looked at. if it takes a few weeks, i'd just let it be for the time being.

Ct has a Innova 3100e Obd2 reader on sale half price $100. One diagnostic dealer check would pay for it. Any thoughts??

if its the blue one, then i have that model.
works pretty good. gives the code, and a description of it.

This one has a black case with a blue inset for the controls. I will pick one up tonight if there is any left.

My light just disappeared after a week!! and hasn't come back on yet
