I may need to change my rear bumper because some 18 year old kid ran into me last winter and im now feeling the damage (some brackets gave away and my bumper is making a lot of noise when I take bumps)

This is the highlights of the estimate I got, tell me if it makes sense (im in a hurry to get it repaired because it's driving me nuts):

282$ for a new bumper
110$ for paint
6.9 hours total to do the job= 400$

Is this decent ?

Thx

That is high. Should be approximately $500-600, painted and installed.

The pricing is way too high.

If memory serves right you can get the bumper from Joe for $200ish, especially if you get the Mazdaspeed 3 rear bumper. Then you're looking at about $200 for painting.

The installation is super simple, you can even do it yourself if you have 1/2 hour to dedicate. Otherwise, take it down to Jimmy for install.

Thats way too high...

My 06 hatch got hit before and what i did was..

06 bumper - $280
MS3 rear bumper - $320

I added a few bucks for the MS3 rear bumper..its worth it..

+paint & labour - $250

So it cost me overall $590..
