Hopefully there isn't another post like this, tried to look but didn't see too much that helped...

Just wondering for those people who have aftermarket LED Tail Lights how long they've lasted and have you experienced any of the bulbs burning out? Was it a quick fix, inexpensive etc etc.

There's nothing more annoying than driving around with only one side working, or none at all. It's not safe and I'd feel so lame and it makes the car look crappy. Let me know gang, thanks.

LED's are supposed to be pretty durable but I do know they fail. If you have a whole side going, I'd double check the connections. If it's a LED here or there then could be pretty expensive to repair as you'd have to disassemble the entire unit and get down to the circuit board to de solder it out.

I agree, LED's out makes it look crappy and the whole reason you bought LEDs was supposed to be for their durability.

I`ve had LED tail lights, LED turn signals and LED reverse lights for about 4 years now. Never had any problems so far. (Knock on wood)

I bought my LED OEM tail lights sometime in 2005 or 2006 and they have yet to fail me.

Some cheap LEDs are craptastic, but any LED from a good manufacture should last you the life of the car in theory. Solid state light source, so no filament or globe to break. Good LEDs are good to about 250K hours of burntime or more. Unfortunately, unlike flashlight companies (SureFire, Streamlight, Underwater Kinetics, Pelican, et al.), many companies aren't overly forthcoming about which LEDs they use.

Anyone in the market for OEM JDM LED tail lights from a 2004 hatch? I also have the solid red and yellow tail lights available.
