Service at Burlington Mazda

I used Burlington Mazda for the 16K service. Took less than an hour no problems with car afterwards. They called a couple of days later to ask if everything was OK.

I would use them again.

Took in the car for the 24K service. The service includes inspections oil change etc. They Dealership Recommended:

Brake cleaning and Lubrication - 179.00
4 wheel alignment doesn't matter if it's needed or not. 120.00
Tire rotation 20.00
Oil Change 83.00

I declined the Brake work and Alignment went with the Tire rotation and Oil change. Asked the Service Rep to have the mechanic tell me what percentage of brake pads I still had left, since the wheels were going to be off.

When I went to pay I asked about the percentage of pads left. The Service Rep didn't see it written down so he asked the mechanic to come and tell him. When the mechanic finally showed up after being asked twice. He started to tell yell at the Service Rep that I hadn't paid for brake inspection ... then the door shut they argued for a minute. The Service Rep came out apologized said lots of brakes left.

Was my question about brake pad percentage left out of line?
They missed out on 400 bucks worth of work so they are pissed?
