yes i sesarched no i didnt find anything that answered my questions.

so im running stock deck. i got a mono block amp.

i connected a LOC to my harness behind my stock deck, ran my power, ground, and remote.
ive got power at the amp from wire tester.
but it wont turn on...
where would the remote be best to run? i was told to connect it to the blue and red wire, well the only blue wire from that harness. and my LOC is all connected to there wires with the RCAs back to the amp. but amp wont turn on.
checked all fuses and there good.
i am stumped

I wired the remote to the cigarette lighter. Did you wire the remote to the power wire? That will not work.

what colour is the power?
should i connect my remote wire too?

Power should be orange, ground is black.

Alternatively i tapped into the yellow/silver wire on the stock radio wire harness behind the radio. It gets power once the ignition is turned.
In order to test to make sure it is the remote wire not turning on ur amp, just run a jumper test wire from the power terminal to the remote terminal on the amp and see if it turns on. If it does, then yes, something is wrong with the tap you used for the remote wire
