S.F.W.'s 2010 MS3 - dyno charts

Went to APH today. Had a baseline dyno done, as well as a HPFP install. Dyno results below.

Fairly consistant, not to bad for stock, what did they rate these at from factory?

263HP, 280lb-ft those numbers look about right

That's a 4th gear pull I'm pretty sure. APH only dynos in 4th or 5th unless you ask for 3rd.

Not bad numbers Ami! I wonder tho, did he calibrate the gear ratio at the start of the session (Brian usually does). Unless that gear ratio # means something else, he is using the same ratio as the 1st Gen's, which have shorter gears. That might skew the numbers a bit.

He did the gear calibration at the beginning. I am not hugely concerned about the numbers as it is just a baseline. As long as the method remains consistent and I can track progress, I will be pleased.

it's interesting that the DynaPack calculated the gear ratio at the hub as the exact same one as the Gen1 MS3's (4.625). Nice baseline regardless. For future dynos, make sure the ratio is calculated the same.

Comparison:
4th gear ratio in the Gen2 is 1.03:1... Final drive ratio in the Gen2 for 4th is 4.19:1 ...overall ratio (4th gear X final drive) = 4.316

4th gear ratio in the Gen1 is 1.171:1... Final drive ratio in the Gen1 for 4th is 3.941:1 ... overall ratio (4th gear X final drive) = 4.615
