I recently went back to Prima Mazda to find a whole array of new faces. What a refreshing experience to re-visit the dealerhsip. Most of the people are new for both Sales & Service. I understand it may be undergoing some cosmetic changes. Between the new staff and the cosmetic changes that should be taking place very soon, this dealership shows great promise! Some good advice.....give them a try, or a retry, they are truly committed to their customers. Prima, I am really glad I came back. I strongly recommend this dealership, they have made remarkable improvements!!!!::winner

hmm..just registered your account. First post is praising a dealer, that has had some less than favourable comments. Interesting..

True statement as I was there Tuesday getting a service done. Service rep that helped me out was a different person than usual and also offered a bit of advice as I've been having some transmission issues. Parts and reception staff seemed to still be the same however. If you wanna make an improvement tell your shuttle drivers to not rip it in the prima mazda car while escorting people; I could only imagine what they do to customers cars bringing them into the back.

But back on point, first post and its to boost Prima... definitely a staff member.

Acutally I am not an employee of Prima Mazda. I did not want to return to this dealerhsip, but had not choice as they had my tires. Went to get back my summer tires and had absolutely not intention of dealing with them. I was very surprised at the changes in the dealership. The attitude and the customer handling was valuable. Our family have Mazda's and Honda's both of which are serviced at dealerships. In reading all the negative reviews that this dealerhsip has received, in all fairness, a good experience and a remarkable change are good reasons to post comments. You are correct in your comment of this being my 1st posting. I am however surprised that you have taken such a suspicious approach to a positive comment. Seems biased to me!

They are under new management in the service area, I received an email this week telling me I should take my 3 to their spa....They also thanked me for being a loyal customer, kind of funny since I hadn't gone back since the first service (just about a year ago) and they messed up the hood of my car with one of their tools and blamed it on a rock. I'm thinking this is one of their employees trying to drum up business.

Our experience has been that 90% of the time when the first post praises a dealer the person turns out to be associated with dealership.

I'd like to clarify that it's 90% of the time when they praise a dealer (or other shop) that had a lot of negative feedback, it turns out to be related back to that dealer (or related shop) somehow.

No one would question a new user coming on here and praising a dealer like QEW or a shop like SP or a sponsor like NextMod as they have good reviews here with a few minor ones.

I would like to reiterate my previous postings. “I had no intention of dealing with Prima Mazda. It was only because they had my summer tires that I returned”. My original intent was to go to Erin Mills Mazda. Obviously I am not an enthusiast. I just drive my vehicle and worry more about vehicle safety..... I never would have thought that posting something positive would render such a negative impact. I have posted positive experiences for a variety of different types of businesses, which is why I am so surprised at the reactions received today. When I had my tires swapped at Prima I inquired about the previous staff. In conversation with Neville I was informed that some are at Direct Mazda, but he was not so sure about everyone. Anyways...if I have upset anyone, I apologize! That was not my intent for the posting!

One more thing, I forgot to mention, I purchased my vehicle from this dealership. I only recognized one sales staff member. There doesn't seem to be much staff changes in the reception area. Some service staff changes are obvious and Management has definitely changed!

WOW a new sales team, had they done that back in September of last year I may have purchased my Speed 3 from them, instead I was treated poorly and I was a current customer of theirs (had a 2007 Sport GT). So I purchased a new Speed 3 from Mazda of Toronto and dealt with Jeff, probably the best thing Prima Mazda did for me in the 4 years I WAS THIER CUSTOMER!!!

Remarkable Improvements? Only time will tell!!!!

Also I like to think I'm an optimist and I hope you fall into the 10% category, in which case welcome to TM3, but if you do happen to fall into the 90% category and the members first impressions are correct, then they pretty much got your number.

You haven`t upset anyone in the slightest, no need to apologize. In fact please do stick around! Even though you describe yourself as not being an enthusiast, there`s of good info on things from buying tires or light bulbs to cleaning crayon out of your carpet.

actually I bought my 3 from Prima, as did my wife, and to be honest i really havent had any issues and in fact i got a pretty good deal on my purchase. however.. I more than likely would not be going back due to the atmosphere, attitude ( Woodbridge), and it does give the feel of.. " dont really care about you ".

that being said.. this thread is just blatant, i was always told of it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck.. chances are, its a duck.

As far as I know....The only Person from Prima Active on TM3, Is myself as I look over everything for it. I`ve had my handle for a while now back when I was in Direct and Gyro Mazda`s. Celli Is correct that almost everyone has been changed or lack for a better word...Cleaned house... To also clarify something, Prima and Maple Mazda are under the same Group...Not Same Management that caused alot of issues. Check out the Zanchin Auto Group...They own everything in the #7 Automall and Also Everything in the Maple Automall(except Mercedes).

The other Employees here are older(Senior) People and have no interest in TM3. Celli Is most likely Genuine and not a "booster" lol .

I look forward to helping the community!
