May 28, 2011 - C7 Spring Tour

With the help of members of C7 and sponsors Nextmod and APH, the 2011 Spring Tour in Toronto started off once again! Fog passed through the city as drivers got their cars ready for this annual cruise to the track. With the expected nice weather, the Toronto Motorsports Park was expected to be packed!

More than 80 cars joined the cruise part while some members headed straight to the track for lapping. Very much like the years before, the cruise route included long straights, tight hairpins, and unexpected random passers. The cruise took a little bit over 1hr and 30min. At the track, everything from bikes to full on dragsters were there. VW Golfs, GTR and everything in between. Everything made a little noise today!

Great pics, what's the story behind the GTR lifeline? :chuckle

The guy left the car on (engine off) and killed the battery. However, it turned out not to be a simple boost, as there seemed to be some sort of safeguard or something and we couldn't get it to start.

Ok, that was a lie, the GTR needed some extra zoom zoom power to go faster around the track :chuckle

Our group (3 trucks) ended up going with an 2 imports. They wanted to take some shortcuts so we actually ended up by ourselves...and we missed a few turns and screwed up the fork in the road haha.

Took us a bit to get there after that, but we ended up running into the 4th guy randomly on the way haha.

Was a lot fun for sure.
