i "gave" my 3 to my sister and so far in the year and a half she's had to replace her alterntor and accessorie belt, had rust problems she's (and me) fighting mazda about and her fuel consumption is in the craper.
sorry if not one else is in the same boat but i just had to rant.

I had my 05 for 4 years with roughly 96xxxkm on it and nothing but regular maintenance was done to it and fuel economy was amazing.
whats the mileage like on your 07?
2007 Mazda 3 sedan GX.
Bought used at 74,000km, and now has 94,000km. Had to replace front struts. That's all so far. Pads are new, rotors are original I believe.
Nothing major to report, just been routine maintainence. However, you'll notice a couple anal complaints I have had with how the car sometimes works, but I can make a similar list about a Civic.
Fuel economy is about 500km 70city/30 highway
I drive my cars hard sometimes, so I guess I have to deal with the consequences :P
