DealExtreme USB jack - cigarette powered - how is it?

Did anyone get this cigarette lighter powered USB Jack off DealExtreme?

I've been eyeing this for quite awhile now but it looks like it doesn't quite fit all the way into some cigarette lighter sockets (as per the photos in the review)

I'm just wondering if anyone else has purchased this? and if so how does it look? function? and more importantly does it seat ALL the way into the hole?

I also saw this one, according to the description its a bit shorter. but i don't need 2 plugs and i like the idea of the power indicator light of the first link

i've bought 2 of those and they work great, i usually use them to charge my blackberry/ipod on the way to/from work. Most definitely worth the 1.99 pricetag.

Sorry didn't answer your question..it feels cheap, but 1.99 is cheap. It works like it should and it does seat all the way in, it has a green indicator light as well

Does it sit flush? I looked at the product video, and in the video, it sticks out about 1cm

i assumed from "it does seat all the way in" that means it does sit flush...i think

i was thinking about ordering a bunch of these...but im not sure what to do about it with regards to the postal strike...
then again...it'll take a month to ship anyways...so maybe they'll be done striking by then lol

you would pick at the edges. there's a lip on it. its not going to sit INSIde the hole and get stuck inside the hole
