Ii went to CanadianTire and they said that its my EVAP CORE and need a recharge. Is there any temporary fix for my air conditioner?

Nope! They cannot recharge the system if its leaking (illegal).The leak must be resolved then the system recharged...Unfortunate but necessary.

I wouldn't trust those monkeys at crappytire for the life of me
take the car to someone reputable who can diagnose the A/C properly... I have my doubts that the evaporator is bad, but who knows... get a second opinion! crappy tire is probably out to get you... did you know that to change the evaporator, the whole dashboard has to come out??
