hey guys quick question how much will this cost me to get my driver door fix? it wont open from inside and outside every other door works except driver side. i just wanna know how much am i going to spend to get it fix?

What kind of mazda? Warranty? Actuator broken? Do u hear a noise when you try to use power locks?

its a 2004 mazda 3, no more warranty yeah i think its the actuator no i dont hear noise when i use power lock

How about the harness connection near the joints? The wires may be severed. Do the power windows work? Is there sound outputting from the door speaker?

yeah everything works just the door cant open from using the key or keyless entry

You can try unscrewing the inside door lever and see if pushing / pulling the control rod does the trick.... hit unlock on the remote at the same time...

This happened to a friend of mine I work with. Has a Mazda 6. Paid the dealer $600 for a fix...

hey thanks guys yeah i got it done bought the parts from the dealer and got my mechanic to fix it for me, took him hours to figure out but got it done and i spend about $300 for everything

it was the actuator it was broken they had to replace it, took them hours to open they did it by making a hole in my car to get to the screws so they can just open the panel and the door, its alright you cant see where they made the hole other than that my door works fine, all i care about was for me to get in my own car lol
