I'm hearing this weird noise from my clutch that seems to get worse only when i push the clutch pedal in. Clutch engages fine but this noise seems to be getting worse.

a clicking sound when your compress the clutch? I get this too. I think it just needs to be lubricated.

Sounds like the throw-out bearing is going or most likely gone.

i hope it's not a clicking sound... but if it's more like a squeeking sound, then what skippy said above^. the throw out bearing and the input shaft needs to be re-greased and the clutch slave cylinder.

Wooooow I have been having this issue for the past week and its driving me crazzzzzzzzzy I had to part out my car because I thought it could be the transmission which was still under warranty. The noise that I make only happens as I release the clutch and step on the gas hard. Took it to toronto mazda and they told me that the throwout bearing is getting worn out. But in your case if it makes that sound when your car is idle while stepping on the clutch, after learning much about clutch noise issue this past week I am pretty sure its the throwout bearing. No point greasing it as it will cost the same for labour as if you changed the whole thing.

take it to streetperformance you can't go wrong with jimmy.

-Your description does not sound like the bearing alone, there are other issues as a bad bearing only really makes alot of noise when the clutch pedal is completely depressed as in the clutch is completely released.

-Greasing a blown release bearing is a useless endeavor as when the bearing is gone, it's gone.Time to replace the whole clutch assembly including the pilot bearing and fork.IMO.

Ya I'm aware that greasing it won't do any good, but I've been told its the way I time my shift and while gasing it hard. Doesn't always happen which means something is wearing out.
