Have a 2008.5 Mazda 3 sport. ~53000KM. Had my 48000 km service last time i went in (November).
Making an appointment now for service, and have been told that the following is reccomended:
Clean Fuel Injectors, and Throttle Body Service: $240
4 Wheel Alignment: $125
Change A/C filter: $95

Can somebody offer advice on which of these they feel is truly necessary at this point?

Thanks in advance.

Double Check the the maintenance schedule. i never even had the Fuel Injectors + Throttle Body service recommended until i hit around 90,000KM. its not in the thread here for scheduled maintenance but I'm pretty sure you don't need/its not necessary/its should be recommended until you get closer to 100,000KM 4years old. also the throttle body cleaning is pretty easy to do yourself, just a rag and some throttle body cleaner.

4wheel alignment, havnt had it dont yet on my car and i just cleared 100,000KM not too long ago, i think this would be something that would be necessary only if you've done work on your suspension, there's obvious vibrations, obvious leaning to one side, or obvious uneven tire ware

changing A/C filter, is really just the cabin air filter, so if you really care about having the air "properly Filtered" into the cabin, then go for it, (also not recommended to me until i got closer to 90,000KM or 4 years), but its also something that can be done yourself, its a bit of a PITA though, b/c u have to open up the passenger side dash etc.

to sum it up, unless you're having obvious problems with rough idle, uneven tire ware, leaning to one side, vibrations from the wheels, or you're a germaphobe, i think they're yanking your chain, and you can hold off on all the above until next year or 90,000KM

apparently its not part of the manufacturers service guide. however, some mazda dealers recommend it every 2years or 48,000KM

i think most members don't do either of the throttle body (ETB) cleaning or the injector flush until they get closer to 100,000KM

Alignment - of truly necessary you can have it done elsewhere for half that price.
