Friend referred me to a local mechanic for oil changes. I normally go to the dealer but they're booked full for yesterday/today and I need a change now before I drive up to the beach for the long weekend.

Kind of weary about this guy though, uses CAM2 synthetic oil and normally I just go to the dealership. Am I being over paranoid? Has anyone ever heard of CAM2/had problems with third party mechanics changing the filter w/ a 2.3L Mazda?

thanks

I've used CAM2 in my motorcycle as well as a couple of cars over the years. No problems.
