Just coming back from a Alaskan Cruise, bored waiting at the airport, so i uploaded some pics.

For anyone thinking of going on a scenic relaxing vacation, this is it, just lacks a young crowd for people my age.

and yes, I really need to buy a SLR camera soon.

But my cousin did get some shots of whales, and dolphins on his D7000:drool, so I will post those when i get them.

yes the scenery is breath taking at times, and its not cold as you may think it is. more like a spring weather there.

LOL too funny

What's funny is that she's pretending she doesn't know the title of that movie. We all know she has the VHS, DVD, blue ray, an it's on the PVR. LoL

Just kidding, FoXy.
The wife makes me watch it everytime it's on TV.

Damn you Peachtree/TBS!!!! damn you and your stupid "Back-to-Back marathons" all to high hell!!!!!!!!

Whichever one I can afford! LOL
actually just started thinking about cruises. I'm not feeling the Caribbean in August. It's hot enough here.

you need to take a helicopter to get on the glaciers, the helicopter rides cost about $250-300 a person :rolleyes

The thing about this trip is, it can get very expensive as there are a lot of costs that can easily get added on, of course i didnt go on the heli ride, but we did go on tours like whale watching, which was $75 a person, and next day, just a bus tour up the mountains, which was really reasonable and imo the best tour we did($30 a person).

If you don't mind me asking, how much did you pay for your trip? I always want to go but its so expensive.

well the cruise ticket was about $800, which starts at Seattle, but the flight tickets costed about $800 for a roundtrip.

then there are costs to look at for the activities/tours at each stop,
drinks are not included :S ($55 for 7 days of unlimited non-alcholic drinks and i think $120 for alcohol)
$12 a day on tips that are automatically charged
they have photographers on the cruise, and if you want to buy your photos, they charge about $20-25 a pic...stupid prices

It all adds up, look to spend around $2k

oh and your cruise card is connected to your credit card, so raking up your bill isnt too hard on the cruise lol

OUCH on the price. i guess its not cheap to run a helicopter.

depending what glacier you go on, the view is amazing (been on one with a heli before but not by choice. we were forced there. engine died :( ). i was gonna suggest going if ever you go again but for that price.
