Im thinking about powder coating my rims a gunmetal colour. Where would be the best place to do it and how much would it cost?

That's a good question to ask however...
There's lots of discussion here on TM3 about that. Do a search on powdercoating and you will find Quy's is one of the places a lot of the members have used.

There is a place in Bradford (Im not sure where you are located) called Afterburner. I think the website is under construction right now but it is www.afterburnercoatings.com The phone number is 905-775-5222 or email is info@afterburnercoatings.com
They are amazing and they did some really awesome custom stuff on a set of my wheels.
I hope that helps you!

There are a few places I've heard of and experienced:
A) Quy's Coating - I've heard nothing but good stuff about his work.
B) Metal Coaters - I've had my rims powdercoated there. Quality is not bad plus affordable.
C) Curbed.ca - A buddy of mine had his rims repaired and powdercoated here and was happy with the results. They can even do a pick up/drop off with your rims.
Good luck with your search.

+1 to everything Queue said.
I've had mine done at metal coaters in Mississaugu and absolutetly love the quality and finish but I've heard Quy's is the best of the best of the best!

You should also take into consideration where you are located / how far are you willing to drive.
Metal Coaters is about $200-300
Quys sponsor price is 400-500
Brightside is about 400-500
Curbed is about 600-800
Keep in mind these are approximate pricing and is usually dependent on
1 condition of rims
2 size of rims
3 color choice
4 Prep option
5 Finishing option
6 mount/dismount/balance options
7 pick-up / drop off option
Best thing is to call them or show them your worst rim and ask for a quote
