So i have a couple small rust spots caused by stone chips. 2 on the roof and behind the rear lights ( obviously not from chips but nothing serious, i think i may just need a good cleaning back there, it seems to be running on the surface of the paint)
I will be getting them repaired whenever i can go a day or 2 without my car.
So my question is should i bother rustproofing the car or waxing (the roof) until thats done. Should the car be waxed before rustproofing or wait till after, or should i just do the repair myself as a temp, itll probably be another few months before i can go without the car.( the spots are about 1/4 the size of a dime), i can handle the repair myself its the paint match thats my concern, no filler will be needed.

Any suggestions would be awesome.
Thanks alot

P.S. ive spent the last while searching but majority of what comes up is about warranty and this doesnt fall withen the catagory. But if you know of a useful thread please point me to it.

In my opinion it's ALWAYS a good idea to get the car oil-sprayed and preferably at KROWN.I suggest you get those chips repaired asap and properly.Wax the car before the oil-spray.But you'll probably want to do it again a couple of weeks after also.
