Hello everyone,
I am not quite sure if I placed this in the right forum but I wanted to ask for any suggestions about my leaking windshield fluid tank/reservoir. After buying a used car from QEW Mazda, I found out that the tank was leaking. I tried to get it fixed at the dealership but it would cost about $450. I also tried taking it to my mechanic and he suggested to go to a junk shop, find parts, and he will install it for me. I have a 2007 Mazda 3 2.3
Any suggestions?
Thank you

junk yard would be a much cheaper option if you can actually find one that'll fit.
you could also try fixing it yourself...http://www.popularmechanics.com/cars/how-to/4315272
there is no way ur car passed safety with that leak
and if it did and QEW wont fix it report them its simple

+1. Maybe if it was under 3 months but you are kind of SOL.
Definitely get a bottle from a wreckers and put it in yourself or have a mechanic do it. It will be much, much cheaper.

Talk to Joe (FLIPDADY on here) at Mazda of Toronto in parts to get a quote for a new one.
Remove your bumper and take a look. It's probably just leaking from one of the little turbine/motors. I bet you could fix it with "Goop" from Canadian Tire. You might not even need it... one of the motors might not be seated properly and you just need to adjust it.
If you have to pay, $450 is a rip off... It's just a plastic container. After removing the bumper it takes like 2 minutes to remove the tank....
Edit: Two motors if you have a rear windshield wiper (IE: Hatchback), otherwise it's just one.......
