July 30, 2011 Track School with Ian Law Racing and TM3. This my POV from the final session of the day.

I hope to see some of you guys who attended Track School at an ILR lapping day in the near future. I believe Ian has 3 more lapping days scheduled this year.

^My bad, just saw your first post. What'd you think of my driving?

From your vid it looks like I brake much earlier then you?

Don't worry about how you drove...think about how you WILL be driving from now on. =)

Your driving is fine. Like Fobio said, don't worry about how you drove, think about how you will drive next time. FWIW, you drove pretty much the same as I drove when I attended Track School last year. My advice is to keep coming out; get as much seat time as you can, talk to people more experienced than you, get rides with people, ask experienced guys to ride with you, and watch videos on YouTube of other people driving. I am by no means quick, or even good, but I try to learn as much as I can from my friends and my time in the seat, and I focus on making small improvements.

Also, try not to compare my braking to yours. Give it time, brake where you are comfortable braking, and learn the limits of your comfort level and your car.

I've been playing around with overlaying logging data into the video and this is my first attempt. Gives an idea of the speeds and G's felt in corners.

Data Logger: Trackmaster for Android (http://trackmaster.trackaroo.com/welcome)

Data Overlay: Trackmaster video export into RaceChorno2AVI (http://www.racechrono.com/news/?p=92)

Video: AVS Video Editor (http://www.avs4you.com/AVS-Video-Editor.aspx) to combine the in-car video with the RaceChorono2AVI video. I used the free (non-activated) version so it has a watermark in the middle of the video every so often.

I've also been playing with RaceRender 2 (http://www.racerender.com/RR2/Features.html) and, for the price, find it better to use than AVS Video Editor for track video purposes. Will have a comparison video up later.

^same video and log but using RaceRender's (http://www.racerender.com/RR2/Features.html) built-in gauges based on the .csv file import into RaceRender natively

This website doesn't seem to link video into the forum as a player, but check it out at the link below. It's a mash up of my video and MBNTO's:
