Hey, everyone so I am new to owning a 2011 Speed 3, after doing some quick reading the HPFP is a grave concern for anyone wanting to mod this car.

Now I am about to pull the trigger on a Magnaflow exhaust part no:15557, now being that the car is tuned to run lean will this cat-back effect anything in a negative way or is it better to stick with the stock. As the gains are probably very minimal. Would the fuel pump need to be addressed in this mod or is this mod non-intrusive to the car? Thanks alot

No. Since there is no hp gain with an aftermarket exhaust.

is it just cat back?

Edit: I just looked it up.... Cat back should be fine... do you have any sort of monitoring device?

You need to check which section you are posting in there bud. An aftermarket exhaust (especially a TB) on a speed can definitely help put down some better numbers.

In fact you can even see some better numbers on an NA so thanks for the useful input there.

your first purchase before modding should be some sort of monitoring device. i suggest the accessport if you plan on doing any further tuning. If not Dashhawk is another good product.

I was contemplating purchasing the Accessport, not completly sure on the end goal of the car but for the same money the AP is probably a better purchase.
