that's not something you'd run every day.

it is designed to be the first oil used after an engine build or re-build where the engine is broken-in according to whatever procedure specified and then the oil is drained.

how about on a new car?
would it be useful or waste of time and money?

By the time you take delivery of the car it has probably 10-20 km on it. With that much running time on the engine it is pretty much past the point where special break-in oil is going to do much good. If you want to be extra OCD about break-in then change the oil and filter early - at 500-1500 km - but use the viscosity and API grade Mazda specs for your model year.

The biggest problem you would likely ever have if you do use this break-in oil would be denial of warranty coverage if your engine or catalytic converter(s) ever failed. Even that unlikely scenario assumes Mazda finds out you used oil which does not meet their specs.
