Hello all, so my door is already off in the process of adding tweeters, but now I see a set of blue and red wires already in place for where it looks like tweeterrs would go in my door (just on the other side of my mirror) these wouldn't happen to be pre-wired tweeter wires would they?
Thanks

Which door are you looking at?
Each one is different
Here's a pic of front Passenger side tweeter

Right now I'm on my front passenger side.
This is the red/blue wire that i'm talking about

When everything is assembled it's just plugged into a wire holder waiting to be used

hmmm - not sure. Mine looks like the tweeter is a White and Blue wire.

hahaha - yeah. Started seeing pics post up on other websites and stuff. Even saw pics of members' cars for sale LOL

keep in mind - mine is an 05 - it could very well be pre-wiring for tweets on your car. The connection looks similar

So I took out my speakers while waiting... And I found water inside my door....
Should I be paying Mazda a visit?

LOL WTF?!
Did you get any 3rd party rust proofing done? If so - I would check the drill/drain holes and plug those.
If not - I would take it to Mazda

why do you want to plug any holes at the bottom of the door? they're for draining! water ALWAYS gets inside the doors because that's how the windows work... it's not a 100% seal at the belt mouldings... they're merely there for wind and dust protection... the glass run seals are for water sealing, but they aren't where water would settle
you WANT holes at the bottom of the door so that water can quickly drain out and dry before it causes rust!
that's the whole reason why stock speakers have a splash shield at the back, to prevent the speaker from getting wet! if the speaker is installed upside down, the water will collect in it and rot it out!
as for the tweeter wires, those are it... all 3s are prewired for them, as far as having power locks/windows cars that is.... not sure about manual GX models
the input is just a plain feed, shared with the speakers... you will need a crossover spliced in before you can install the tweeters... the stock tweeters have a low tech capacitor to act as a crossover... I'm not sure what the farad value is because I have a bose system... the bose tweeters are different from the regular ones... I know the protege ones are 50V 1µF , so they're probably the same in the 3.... you wouldn't have to care if you bought stock tweeters from a wrecked 3 though :)

Good to know!
I guess I interpreted it as "puddles" of water in the OP's doors'.
Which to me was raising a red flag, considering how little rain we've gotten lately, and the heat and humidity that should've dried up any moisture in there
