I did a photo shoot for my best friend a few days ago. Let me know what you think.

I'm still learning, good or bad, I like to hear opinions. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Black cars can be difficult to photograph. You need to light up the front a little bit as all detail in that area is lost and it just blends into the darkened background.

Not a fan of the treatment in the second last photo.

Totally agree. Black is hard to shoot in this light. The trees on the right caused too much shadow which is where i lost the detail. Im going back to LR to see about lighting it up a bit.

The 2nd last one was done for the guy as he like "overcooked" HDR shoots. I like them sometimes. but not this time. So I also agree on that one.

Thx for the comments bud. Honest opinions and critiques are always appreciative.

Play around with the exposure of front of the car in the first and second photos.

Great pics, i'm not a big fan of HDR as well. The front of the car does need a bit more lighting so maybe work on the exposure or black levels. Also seems like the clarity is bumped up a bit too high in the second last pic. Nice location, and i like how you included some of the asphalt in the foreground. Also nice picture of the steering wheel!

Nice compositions but tone down the photoshop... a good photographer does very little post production as their camera should do most of the work. That is the art of photography ;)
