Just thought I'd share my newest motorized project.

It's a 1968 triumph bonneville custom hard tail. Looks rough but is actually in better shape then it looks. No major rust and even the paint could just be polished and it would look fine( although i am painting) even the front shocks are fine.

The engine needs a complete rebuild, brakes, electrical ect all need to be done as well. Although the tires still hold air. Lol.

So what do you guys think. Anyone also do this kind of thing.

Thanks for looking

Not my style of bike but definitely will be a fun project. If all goes well and I work steady through the winter I'll be picking up my first bike sometime next year. I'll be looking for an SV1000.

Ya I'm so excited. I'm not really into choppers or crotch rockets. I'm more into cruisers and bobbers.

I've done a few car rebuilds and body work but this is entirely different. Something new.

My only concern is finding parts for the engine. It's a 650 but I may look into getting another engine so I can get the bike running by next spring.

In the same deal I also got 3 beat up mini choppers. 2 of which I will be able to get goin again. 1 pocket bike, missing a gas cap but apparently runs and an early 90's yamaha 250 enduro. In need of a top end rebuild but all parts are in tact. Also a few small engines that came off mini bikes.

The guy also has a mini spider bike that runs but needs some cosmetic fixes, so i may be fixen that up for him as well. Basically a buff and polish.

I'm getting conflicting results on that. It has the gauges, tail lights and headlight, in need of turn signals but it's only 250cc

In my research I've been seeing that it has to be 500cc for highway but I don't think thats right. Honda rebel is 250cc and is fully legal.

My bro is working on a 1975 Honda CB360T that will hopefully resemble this when finished.

I love the look of them, it's like sports bike meets chopper :D

Make sure it is 05+ on that bike.

Wicked bike, but don't race newish 600's.

My SV650 was one of my favorite bikes!
