View Full Version : What's a good "one stop shop" for HID?

Looking for a store that sells, installs and warrants HID all in one place.
I know these kits won't last forever and i dont want to go through the hassel of meeting up then going to another garage to have them replaced.
Can anyone recommend a reputable place?
Thanks in advance!

But just install them yourself, you really shouldn't be modding a car if you can't change your own lights.

All three below are excellent to deal with. Personally, I got mine through Garage16. More or less plug and play, bulb replacement is easy as well.

Thanks guys.
I checked out the thread, the contact person seems to be Brendan not Kelvin? And it doesn't mention that they also do installation as well.....hmmm...
Regardless I'll give him a call tomorrow to find out more.

Plenty of enthusiasts don't have the means or inclination to do their own modding. I'd go as far as to say that 60-70% of tastefully modded cars have had the work done to them by professionals. Personally, I'd rather pay a price and have a guarantee to the quality of the workmanship rather than risk doing a subpar job myself.

Jeff Audio Haven. Installed and warranty. They took the time to make sure alignment was perfect after install. Been a year with no issues.

I checked their website just now and it mentions nothing about HID at all...

Lol, I just saw that now. Yes, it's supposed to be Imports Tuning, Kelvin's the name. He did the installation on mine and it was quick, clean and very professional.

I've bought mine from Kelvin over a year ago, no issues, then a ballast failed, Kelvin replaced it = excellent service.
When (if) this set goes, I will be buying from him again :thumbsup

He probably has more non-Asian customers, than Asian customers.
If you have a problem with Nextmod why niot just state the issue?

I am non Asian and have always had my emails returned from Nextmod. Additionally, when I was there to pick up at SRI for my car, I had excellent service.

I'm a white guy who's into my car as much as any Asian guy and nextmod has been cool to me so far.

What does being Asian have anything to do with Nextmod or Tuning cars?
Maybe you said something offensive as you "wide eyed people" usually do, or expected them to bow down to your white supremacy.
:loco
Thats like saying "Asian guys get ripped off at Canadian Tire because we speak with an accent"

Why do you need another kit, cant you just replace the bulbs?

^ my one fog light ballast is toast and warrenty is up so might aswell get another kit. all the other bulbs and ballast are going strong for the last 1.5 years.

A guy at a part store sold me 1 ballast individually for $25, you might be better off trying to do the same. I blew a ballast because it wasn't grounded properly, and then with a new ballast it wouldn't work at all even tho the new ballast works fine on the other side of the car. HID's seem really finicky.

Good for all of you! I have saved a bunch of my friends a lot of trouble by sending them elsewhere and I will continue to do so.
My vote goes to Kelvin. A friend dealt with him instead of nextmod and had nothing but good things to say about Kelvin. kudos on the great work Kelvin.
