This week I noticed oil on the floor under my car. At first I wasn`t to alarmed, but then when I went to work I noticed it again. It was passed 5:30 so I brought to canadian tire. I found out my oil filter cap had a hairline crack in it and I lost about 700 ml of oil. I bought one from the dealer for 30 buck and got it installed. Never ignore oil leaks.

that is a common problem... this is also a reason why many of us convert to the spin on canister filters.... mazda has done the same for the new 3s

What do you mean convert to spin on canisters?? The stock aren't normal oil filters??

Only the 2.0L is a normal oil filter that spins on the cylinder. The 2.3L are what seems to be a slip in filter.
