View Full Version : Need opinion(s) on rims/tires - Any Photshop experts want to help me

Hi All,

So I'm sick of looking at the stock snowflakes on my car and am contemplating a change. I have a line on some GP GR-8 rims with a blue lip but am concerned about if the colour will look off against my car. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v342/cush29/Mazda%203/GPGR-8rims.jpg

If anyone can take one of these pics of my ride (they are old pics from when I got it but regardless) and pop the 2 options I have on the go right now I'd love to see how it would look as well as hear what everyone thinks.

I'm also thinking about plasticdipping the front and back emblems black.

So really looking at some 'subtle, old man mods' without breaking the bank and keeping the car pretty clean looking - nothing drastic.

Why not go RX8? you can pick some up between 500+? Or go with enkei rpf1. Lots of options out there and in your budget without going too crazy and keeping the look subtle and clean.

Get an idea from

the GP GR-8 with the blue might look off on a grey car... you can go a cheaper route and plastidip ur snowflakes black....

Thanks, I did a quick once through that thread and only found a couple vehicles in a hatch same colour of mine but it was a quick look so I'll do another once through.

Sorry for the newb ? but what are you referring to when you say M3F?

Also in case it's not clear in the pic my M3 is Graphite Grey Mica.

pretty new to photoshop but i gave it a shot.

the blue looks a bit much, but that's likely because i took a close up shot of the rims and applied it to a "further away" shot of the car...if you can get a shot of the car a bit closer it might look a bit better

np but like i said, the look has a lot to do with the close up shot of the rims...so the blue seems to stand out more than it actually would from that distance
