Hi Guys.
I'm having some install issues and I cant seem to figure it out.
I've never installed a Capacitor before, but I've been following the instructions on the net and manual, and it just dont seem to be working right.
I've installed my system as normal, and hooked up the cap to the ground as required (Same ground as the Amps).
I did not hook any amps of to the cap. I have been charging the cap with a resitor that was supplied, then with a 12v light bulb.
I actually been letting it charge overnight.... and this am the voltage on the terminals of the cap read somewhere around 10volts... after a 8hour charge or so.... It is a 4 Farad cap.
I attached it fully with no resistor and it read 12.5 at the cap. Now after I started it.. with no audio on I notice that it starts out at 14.1 and gradually starts dropping voltage over about a two minute time span to about 12.5v then it bust the inline fuse at the front of the car...
Did i undercharge it? did I do something wrong???
