Japan Philips has just released a new H11 5000k DiamondVision halogen bulb which I've been longing for a long time. Replaced my low bean from Philips 4300k CrystalVision to 5000k DiamondVision eventually. Also swapped away the Philips white parking light come with CrystalVision to Taiwan T10 W5W LED to match the 5000k blueish white.

Looks great! I'm also running 4300k Philips with TSX clear lens projectors. All I can say is once you go clear, you can't go back.
I think I'm going to switch over to the 5000k once I can get my hands on them.
Thanks for this!
Also, your headlights are different than ours here. We don't have that extra parking light in the corner.

Do you mean you guys don't have the parking/position light?

@davehkg: Are the Diamondvision bulbs available for 9006? (fog lamp) I"m currently running Nokya Arctic Whites, but once they blow I'd be happy to switch to Philips, which should last longer.
Also, we have a dual-filament bulb for turn/parking instead of two separate bulbs.

These are Halogen bulbs, not HID.
If you want 5000k HID, check out TRS' Morimoto 5000k bulbs. I'm running them and have been very happy thus far.

Found the info on Philips' Japanese site - available in both HB3 (9005) and HB4 (9006), among many others:
http://e-bulbshop.philips.co.jp/csb/ctg/sp/00000017/cc/00000051/
Looks like 12V, 55W rating.

Can someone decode this? How come it says on the HB3 portion, the wattage is 60W where as if you see 9005, it reads 65W. I know some people have had no issues with an extra 5 watts but I just want to make sure I'm reading that correctly. DOT approved as well! (though it could be fake)

If my memory serves me right, there are two different beam pattern and headlamp construction standards in use in the world: ECE for Europe & SAE for U.S.
Even the stock one has 2 different wattages imprinted on it : HB3 60W ECE/9005 65W SAE.

i dont mind running it, just need to find a source
i've been looking for white DRLs for a long time
not sure if these will still look white in DRL mode though
i wonder if these ones are real haha

Fake for sure. I think the real package includes 2 194 bulbs. I believe Costco use to sell them. I'm trying to get a pair before resorting to ebay.

If all else fails, I'll contact Philips Japan directly and see if they'll accept an international order.

Definitely would rather get genuine product instead of buying a crappy replica.
At any rate, I'll draft up a letter to Philips Japan when I get a chance. Will take a bit of time due to final papers, and because my Japanese is rusty... It's still probably easiest to go this route instead of through Philips North America though, since the latter will probably have never heard of the product and have no idea how to order it.

Try to contact "AE Power (http://hk.user.auctions.yahoo.com/hk/show/auctions?userID=aepower2003&u=:aepower2003&clf=3)" where all my Mazda buddies got the Philips CV & DV from. Prices for CV & DV are much much better than those from Japan. DV series are all from Germany except DV H11 which needs to be ordered from Japan (a bit expensive than German product).
AE Power got 100% positive feedback but unfortunately it's Chinese page. According to the page, it does accept oversea order & PayPal (+4% services charge) as payment.
Copied from AE Power:
Paypal accept for overseas buyer but buyer need to pay 4% paypal service charges. All selling price is as low as cost price, we will not responsible for extra fees.

Thanks Dave for introducing. I couldn't wait. I called NA Phillips Hotline and they led me to www.bulbs.com

I FOUND THEM!! The only catch is I have no idea how much shipping is even though they have a special where its free shipping over $25 bucks. I'm suppose to receive a call within a business day to find out what the "additional" charge is.

are these guys from the US? there might be duties too if they are, also most companies that do free shipping only do it in the US and not Canada. if that's the case, lets group buy to split the shipping/duties.

I didn't ask if a GB could be possible with them. I was going to see how much duties I'd be dinged for. However, they gave me the option to choose Fed Ex or USPS. No Brainer there. Yes, they are from the States. NA Phillips said they were an authorized dealer.

Ok, i guess we'll all wait for your review of them then since you already ordered haha. im interested in having white DRLs the most (since apparently LEDs wont work because of the way the headlights are wired)
please post up some pics when you get them, both DRL mode and high beam mode!

Will do!! Thats correct you need a wiring harness otherwise, you can only use them as high beams and the lighting is pretty weak. I have some LED DRLs sitting around that I don't plan on using anytime soon.

Ok so after some "5" minutes, I installed them...as I expected, they were not as close to 4300K and I believe other members have said that even the Sylvania ones still look like stock. However, my headlights are dirty sooo myabe a clean and I'll take some better pics. Also HELP!! I dropped a small screw driver and it fell down I think its below the Engine...should I go ask someone to help me remove it? I don't have a jack to jack up the car to go underneath.
