you can put the tinted yellow overlays on them.

I also heard that it can burn the tint? But i shall try!!! need them more yellow in the lens part. always thought that getting HID 3000k would also give me a yellow look at the lens. was worried they gave me the wrong bulbs. lol.
thanks alot! :D!

Yep overlays are the way to go. I've had mine for about 3 years and they haven't burnt.
I had mine done at Shinzo but there are some sponsors that have good products as well.

I called Shinzo the other day and they said to me, that it will get burnt? I was ready to book the appointment, but they were really pushing that it will be burnt and wouldn't be worth it? So they did yours for you and you are running HIDS 3000k?

Yep. Most get burt because they are running halogens. They get a lot hotter than HIDs. Shinzo also used a thinner film than most use (lamin-x, etc) so that may also have helped.
The pic shows the film a little darker than it actually is in person.

Well they aren't driving lights so you shouldn't expect them to be bright enough to help light your way. They do help a little but they are quite bright to oncoming traffic.

if you're getting film, just get xpel... it's 3x thicker than that lamin-x (or rockblocker) toilet paper and will also protect your headlights better! I've been running xpel for years and none of my lights got burned or discoloured at all from the heat!

I have the yellow film on my fogs too. Got mine from sechemedia (can't remember if it's lamin-x or xpel, fairly sure it's xpel though), super easy 10 min install. Been running them for about a year with the stock halogens and they still look like new.

Cool, you shouldn't have any issues with it. Yeah, I'm on the east side of Maple. Give me a honk/wave if you see me :)

Looking forward to install the tint, I ended up ordering from lamin-x, I did give shinzo a call he pretty much said didn't have an opening in till the end of OCT. I was willing to wait and head there at that time, But he was going on and on about how it can be burnt and everything so scared me away from doing it. I think he was just to busy really to do the tint, not enough money in it lol which i understand.
Soon ill have my Lamin-x hopefully next week :D ill post pictures once its installed lol. dieing for it .

I really think you should've gone with xpel since you're already spending money
it's better than lamin-x in every way
but if it all works out for you with the lamin-x, then that's great! :)

xpel film and lamin-x are the exact same thing. both are made by 3M and rebranded.
