winter tire size

i was at the dealership today and they told me that size 16 winter tires wont clear my calipers on the 2011 ms3.Has anyone tried yet....i know theres no snow yet but dont want to order from tire rack until proven.If no one has tried im going next tuesday and will post.thanks

Some 16's steel rims don't fit.

If I'm not mistaken s.f.w is running 16's oem rims on his 2010 speed.

Allen from simply tire has 16's steel rims that fit your speed

you can get 16" rims to fit, both OEM & Steelies. If you are in the GTA, our tire sponsors carry steelies that fit on the 2nd MS3.

Yup, we have done them, and they fit fine.

Most of the dealership's documentation says to do a minimum 17", so they recommend it, not knowing.
